Interchangeable stock sleeves are a way of binding chanter or drone stocks into leather bags in such a way that the actual stock can be removed at any time.
This is particularly useful for chanters that are to be used with different tunings in the same bagpipe.
Combined with a wind cap that protects the reed, this is the most elegant and flexible way of putting stocks in bagpipes.
Interchangeable stock sleeves can be individually manufactured in many sizes.
