After three years of development together with Matthias Branschke (dudelsackmanufaktur.de), I am delighted that our string lifter system for hurdy-gurdies can finally expand the musicians' playing options.
Using a finely operated lever mechanism, our string lifters raise and lower the playing string quickly and reliably, even and especially while playing.
This means that the sound volume can be expanded or reduced as desired within a piece being played.
I am proud and happy to be able to go down this path with Mattis.
The individual parts are created in my workshop, which Mattis then combines to form the finished product and makes available.
